These drawings are created through the lens of both Christian discipleship and the long tradition of faith-based pilgrimage, which plays a significant role in many forms of religious worship throughout the world. Having been drawn to this concept through my own travels and research, I sought to find a way to incorporate the principles of experiential and contemplative worship into my own life. As an artist, the act of creating an image can incorporate that method and this is evidenced by the many artists that have followed a similar path before me. I recognize and celebrate that I am able to be a part of this rich faith-focused tradition and hope that these drawings will mean as much to others as they have meant to me.
